JERRY V. CULVER
MAI FINANCIAL CRIME CONSULTANT
Jerry V. Culver joined Madison Associates, Inc. (MAI) as a Financial Crimes Consultant in October 2003. He has been assigned to work with the Food and Drug Administration, Office of Criminal Investigations (OCI) in Atlanta, Georgia, for the last five years. Mr. Culver retired from government service after 28 years as a Special Agent for the Internal Revenue Service – Criminal Investigation (CI). As a Special Agent, he investigated cases involving tax fraud, money laundering, forfeiture, murder, mail fraud and insurance fraud as well as other violations of federal law.
Since joining MAI, Mr. Culver has provided significant contributions to OCI investigations, including financial analyses that resulted in tens of millions of dollars in forfeitures to the U.S. Department of Justice. He assisted another MAI Consultant in the financial investigation and analysis that was used by federals prosecutors to prepare for and try a case involving a large pharmaceutical wholesale company. Jerry’s testimony was critical to the successful prosecution of the company and some of its officers. Mr. Culver has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Auburn University with a major in economics and a minor in accounting. He has also completed numerous advanced courses in money laundering, forensic accounting, financial investigations and asset forfeiture.
